How often do you get out on the bike
Discussion
I have three kids (7, 5 and 2) but I work from home so get to spend lunch and other breaks during the day with the family. During the summer I try and get out for an hour when the kids have gone to bed but this year has been a wash out. At the weekends I tend to ride for a few hours on either Saturday or Sunday morning with a couple of friends. If the weather is good I'll pop out for a bit on the bike (unplanned) for a quick hoon.
As a guide, I use my bike for pleasure only and have clocked up 7000 miles since April 2006.

You need to live somewhere nice like Liverpool as we don't seem to get the extremes of bad weather that the rest of the country gets.
I get out most days on my bike or in my Atom or both sometimes (obviously not at the same time
) but I suppose being retired helps as I can pick and choose what time of the day I go out.

A1ec do you post on the Superbike forum?I get out most days on my bike or in my Atom or both sometimes (obviously not at the same time

Haven't been out in the past 2 weeks though due to weather or not being at home when the weather is good. Had hoped to get out tonight for a while but it's touch and go if it's going to stay dry, plus i've been feeling a bit off this week and i'm not too keen on riding if i'm not feeling 100%.
Only been out on my own so far as well, quite keen to get out with a few other bikers before the really shitty weather rolls in

recently i probably ride about twice a week. uptill two months ago it was everyday to work.
since passing my test at the end of jan this year ive put about 16k on the RF & about 3k on the bonnie i brought in late april as a toy (its also been in bits 50% of that to fix the 'restoration' itd suffered).
things like a day trip to the lake district, from essex, top the miles up well. i did 816miles 23hours 45mins that day.
