Hello!

Right, love the car but dislike the carpet inserts on the doors!!! and her in doors said it looks plain silly rolleyes

Anyone know of somewhere I can purchase a decent leather or possibly vinyl match to my Magnolia interior? Been searching but not finding!!

Cheers smile

Don't think leather would look right. I've got some alcantara samples at home as I'm going to do the same when I get round to it. If I remember I'll take a look at who they're from tonight and post up the details.

I'm thinking of replacing the carpet with carbon fibre panels. Will post pics when done. May also make a carbon fibre centre console to match! Bit more work for this one though spin

Yes, here you go.....

Hope this helps.
It was quite easy to do, looks and feels better than the carpet.
I also made some new gaitors, but the material is quite thin and they look ok, but dont feel as good as leather.

Well thats me sold on the Alcantara!!

Where did you buy yours from? And at what sort of cost?

Did you use anything pad out the Alcantara or just lay it straight onto the door panel?

Got mine from Boyriven, seem to remember it costing about £70, but I bought to much and ending up selling the rest to another griff owner.
Think I bought about 1.5mtrs and they sent more !!

I used 6mm soft foam to pad the GRP door panels once the carpet was removed.

They are differing kinds of alcantara.
Some is suitable for seats and the like, and the other is "panel" (I think) which is what you want.
I.E it is meant for low wear areas.
