If so get your speedo checked!!! I had my tune done and subsequently my speedo was under reading. I have a feeling other people that dont have the wortec tune may also have the same problem. If so get it fixed ASAP. If you have had this done and you get points and your car has been tuned and under reading then you have recourse.

Luckily I wasnt caught speeding but at 70 on the clock I was doing closer to 77. Cruise at 80 which normally you can get away with and with it under reading you would be in the shit.

I am not sure if the tune is locked if you can actually even see the settings or not so if in doubt use a GPS and check then go to somewhere that can calibrate/test the speedo. The issue is the tune I had applied had the gearing for a 3.7 diff applied. From talking to one other person they too have noticed the speedo now under reads.

Can anyone in the know confirm if the speedo calibration can be performed even if the tune is locked?

All I can add is my car is + or - 1 compared toGPS with the wortec tune.

Although the Corsa I am in right now there is zero chance of speeding.

as said in my post, I wasnt implying the wortec one would be an issue just giving a heads up to those with 3.46 diffs with tunes other than Wortec to check - I have spokent to one other who has the same issue

Locked is locked. But yes definately check and take it back to whoever if it wasnt done right.

So Stig, how are you finding things now you are digging deep into the ECM. Sounds like you are enjoying it and learning loads.

Loving it, till disaster time. Huge wall of pain in the first month of reading etc but its all coming together. I still think the afr points are wider on the lc-1 than on stock nb's but hopefully once I go back to SL they should all come in closely - then its the fun of tuning CL - then maf wink

I have mapped the PE with the inbuild B3618 map - should I use those figured to work on the pe table, if so how wink Or is it just a way to check the afr during PE I think I am slowly answerng my own question in that I monitor this then adjust the pe table to get the mixture I desire under PE??

here is the results:

LABELS MAP {B3618} PE Modifier Table - LC-1 Wideband AFR (Average)
RPM Value
0 11.548880
400 14.642888
800 14.521124
1200 14.322117

2000 14.854193

If your VE is right, PE will be what you tell it to be. Personally Id command 13:1 across the whole table for NA.
If you arnt getting commanded, then you need to revisit your VE table. In closed loop you will want to check MAF accuracy.

If I remember correctly, aren't there two different AFR's most suited for max ouput? One for max torgue and one for top end BHP?
