306 hdi aerial base fitting

Has any one got any idea how to fit this B#####d part to the roof, the aerial attatchment is just inside the roof and the screw on the aerial base will not attatch to it, it also has one of those plug hold thingd which squeeze into hold it in place. do you need to remove the interiior roof lining to hold it in place whilst you hold it, etc, so simple yet driving me mental.

problem resolved fooking tappin screw had rusted away found it in the interiod lght now done cheers .
