How do people get away with this, when you view the page for the monaro none of the links work such as send an email to the seller and the only way I could get at his other listings was via the community member search and discovered he has 20 other high performance cars for sale all at ridiculous buy it now prices 2007 rs4 £15000, 2007 Golf GTi £7000 along with merc's, bmw's skylines and astons. All he has sold in the past is a fiesta headlight that the buyer received damaged, a haynes manual and a third item that is too old to search but I"m sure it wasn't a car.
Does Ebay not have some kind of defense against this. can the seller be reported on suspicion of illegality?
He also claims all the cars are in Germany when he is registered as being in Tyne and Wear.
I hadn't come across this kind of activity before and I've been on ebay since 99, it's unreal that anyone gets away with this.

Yeah I noticed that too! lol
Honestly can't see what there is to gain fron this though. Is there anyone out there stupid enough to part with cash, BEFORE receiving said car, let alone seeing it!!!

I guess the stuff I've been buying isn't in areas that people scam a lot. I've read about scammers before just had never found myself viewing or bidding on anything like it.
