The weather is looking very nice for the Sunday 26th/ Bank Holiday Monday 27th August Knebworth event.

http://www.classicmotorshow.com/knebworth-classic-...

It has been a fabulously well attended event by Lambo's and Ferrari's etc in the past and one not to be missed this year. This winter weather has been so hideous of late, opportunities to enjoy our cars are getting fewer and fewer! Maybe we can find a way of combining this event with the Essex run on Monday?

Can we try and develop a list of cars that want to attend?

So far, i know of

My Countach Anniversary
Leslie's Urraco
John's Diablo Roadster
Countach Anniversary - grey
Countach Anniversary - black
Gallardo - orange

For the love of God, will somebody add some cars to this list!!

I'd like to attend but the rules seem to state that the car must be before 1982? Do you have a work around.

To quote my Grandmother, "f**k the rules"!

I have never heard about this rule and looking at all the Lambo's and Ferrari's etc that turn up each year - nor have they!! Im pretty sure that when the crowds flock over to see all our cars, there wont be an officer on duty walking over to us with his rule book. If there is, he might be walking/ crawling away without that book!!

It should be a fantastic 2 days, so definitely try to come - even if its only to make up our 'rebel section'. The Knebworth Classic Car Show Separatist Fundamentalists....... FEAR US!

My very good Friend John who owns a beautiful yellow 1997 Diablo Roadster goes each year, doesnt pre-book and is always welcomed in. I have been in my 1989 Countach Anniversary, another friend in his 1994 Diablo, Nigel's Yellow 6LTR Diablo...my list can go on. We have always been allowed straight through with big smiles.

When I last went, the Ferrari club also had a large turnout of post 1982 cars there as well.

Tried explaining this to the jobsworth from Greenwood. His response

"Some are with clubs which are difficult to monitor. If we have space we may allow a few modern exotics."

Guess I'll come along and see how I get on. Given the poor turnout last year (weather related), youd think they'd be more accomodating...great show the years before though
