The Essex Convoy
Discussion
Nice to meet everyone yesterday, us boy's (and girls) with the roof off were a tad nervous with the sky darkening, but all was well and the rain held off.
The line of cars on the other side of the road with windows down and people pointing made me smile, but not as much as the Boxster driver with his roof on who visibly sagged in his seat as we all went by.
Mark S & Deepdive, I'll drop you an e-mail off line.

Thanks chaps. Those cans were probably the best investment I've made. Actually the wife bought them for me!!! You should hear the noise when I start the car up in the garage. No wonder the neighbours get a little touchy. Nice to know they're so effective - I've only ever heard them from inside the car!!
Thanks for organising the convoy Paul and Alan. I think that we had a little shock though when the extra dozen cars turned up though
. I really enjoyed the trip to the meet - even if I was last to go
. The sound of us starting up together was mind blowing! Will have to do it again next month.

Good day, nice to meet up with you guys.
That Escort and the bloke in the Porsche were funny... as I drove along I looked at people turning out of roads thinking.. "you'll be there a while mate!"
