Well co-ordinated Alf/Podie. Thouroughly enjoyed the drive over to the Forresters. The sound of 20 or so TVRs all starting up at the same time was AWESOME. Maybe we should make it a regular thing?

Yes m8 think this could be a regular event. Might have to ask everyone to attend 30mins earlier in future so we can buy a soft drink in the pub (only fair me thinks )

Good call Alf. 11am Sunday 13th July for a lemonade at the White Hart followed by a testosterone chaser.

Good pics Supraman. New I forgot something when I left this morning....the camera.

Were you about the fifth car from the front in the convoy.

If it was, there was about 3 car lengths between us and I could still hear the exhaust popping.

Yep - great convoy, and the moment when everyone rushed to their cars with a cry of "Start your engines" was fantastic!

Did anyone else notice the number of people who we drove past who had huge grins on their faces too!

Nice to meet everyone yesterday, us boy's (and girls) with the roof off were a tad nervous with the sky darkening, but all was well and the rain held off.

The line of cars on the other side of the road with windows down and people pointing made me smile, but not as much as the Boxster driver with his roof on who visibly sagged in his seat as we all went by.

Mark S & Deepdive, I'll drop you an e-mail off line.

Yep nice one Podie, highlight for me was hearing tuscanpaul about 2 cars behind me all the way there! That is one great sounding Tuscan! It’s made my mind up, it’s a Tuscan next for me

Thanks chaps. Those cans were probably the best investment I've made. Actually the wife bought them for me!!! You should hear the noise when I start the car up in the garage. No wonder the neighbours get a little touchy. Nice to know they're so effective - I've only ever heard them from inside the car!!

Thanks for organising the convoy Paul and Alan. I think that we had a little shock though when the extra dozen cars turned up though . I really enjoyed the trip to the meet - even if I was last to go . The sound of us starting up together was mind blowing! Will have to do it again next month.

Glad you all enjoyed the run... hope we get better weather next time though!!!

Top job again Alf Essex... I'm happy to do it again if you are...!

As for all the cars starting at once - although I did have to look at my rev counter to check I hadn't stalled...!

That Escort and the bloke in the Porsche were funny... as I drove along I looked at people turning out of roads thinking.. "you'll be there a while mate!"
