Wow what a meet!!

64 Cars managed to turn out despite the threatening clouds but in the end the weather was fine and warm in the afternoon.

Well done to everyone who made this an excellent Mid-Essex meet.

The 'mini' meet in the White Hart car park for a convoy to the main meet was Expected around 15 cars but 20 turned up

Tks again to our Suffolk and Kent friends who turned up to support also.

Well done Pauline and Di....how do you keep going!!!

Alan.

Thanks for the "thanks" - hope everyone enjoyed themselves. What a wonderful turnout and even the weather was kind to us - the cars all looked stunning in the sunshine.
Although we work hard as RO's the meet would have been nothing if everyone hadn't come along to show off their pride and joy.
Looking forward to next month.....

Hi Everyone,

The thanks are appreciated......but....it's what being an RO is all about....and as Diane says....it's YOU who all make the meet by bringing along your awesome machines......and what a show there was today!!!!!.......I was actually told there were 70 at one point...!!!!!!!!

To all the new members, thanks for coming along...
I hope you were made to feel welcome and will return next month. It is now my 'thing' to take piccys of members and their cars....but it was a bit hectic today.. and I didn't get the chance!!

Next month I will catch up with the pics for Sprint and the website.

Glad everyone had a great time....

Paul Harbord was the winner of the bottle of Champers and the raffle for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf raised.....wait for it.....£200. ........

What a show................!!

Hey Alf.......was that a reject Mid Essex Ted for half price.....it's got three legs mate ...please don't tell me you didn't notice!!!!!!!

As a newbie (with 7 months of previous form promising Podie & Big M "I will make the next one") it was nice to meet so many of you yesterday.

Great run over from the White Hart, well done Podie & the other convoy organisers so many cars we really needed a Police Escort to stop all the Mr & Mrs Sunday Drivers coming onto roundabouts and getting in the way.

Good fun & I've been persuaded not to sell the car, have decided to shoot the puppy instead !

Stuart, Noooo... Keep them both. It's possible see:

Here's a link and tips, one guy even mentions a a Doberman.

Perhaps your dog will turn out to be a miniature variety in which case, no problem.

Bacardi - thanks for the information, it looks as if Max might not have to be slaughtered after all (or at least he will gain a temporary stay of execution until he outgrows the rear shelf). Big M will have to have Turkey as normal this year......

I will give the parcel shelf a go (we have a safety harness) and if this works I may bring him as well as Mrs N17 TVR to the next meeting.

p.s. Now I've decided to keep the car, I have booked a rolling road session & re-chip with Mark Adams for 24th June, so will be able to advise on benefits at next meeting if anyone is interested.
