steering column uj

Hi, on my 350i with power steering im looking for a new universal joint. Its the one that joins the triangular (ford) column to the cylindrical column. I would be very grateful if anyone knew what this item is off and where to get hold of one. cheers, carl.

Speak to Richard at Wedge Automotive (RT). He rconditioned mine for about £35, I was quoted nearly £200 elsewhere

Thanks for that, i'll give him a ring, I do find hes difficult to get hold of sometimes though.

Alternatively try Penninsula who're normally pretty good - mind there a main dealer now so how receptive they'll be to us Wedgies now is....? or try Tower View Race Services....They advertise in sprint. London prices but good honest guys.

There are lots of versions, which is why I sent mine to Richard Thorpe rather than order the wrong part
