a friend of mine in the states' father is looking to sell an immaculate, restored but useable example of the above vehicle and wanted to know whether it was worth bringing to the UK -anyone have any ideas what it would be worth over here?

Very cool car indeed but not too many know what they are so it may be hard to find a buyer unless it is cheap, which I doubt, I would love to see it smile

It's worth a good price over here. There are a legion of American car enthusiasts who know exactly what a 442 is but they are very rare in this country being lesser known than the common muscle cars. Often , old muscle cars are worth more in the US where they're all idiots and think anything made in the 60's is painted solid gold. So far, the 442 seems to have escaped that. Myself, I prefer the later 442s but would certainly not be upset if that were on my drive.

but this shape was my favourite:


That last pic is the very desirable W30 incidentally and is for sale in the US at $25500!
