Abbeville Race Track (France) - 27th August 2007
Discussion
I'm booked on the above and wondered whether anyone had been on it and what it's like? I have a Cayman S so hopefully it'll be suited.
Bad news: CS is in the garage having a sticking clutch problem sorted but hopefully it'll be ready for tomorrow (early) afternoon so i can miss the weekend traffic down to Folkstone (yeh right!!!). I've been given a standard Boxster which, if an S, I would have gladly told them to keep the CS over the weekend
and nipped over the Channel! If it's not ready and i have to take this car (which is capable but not capable enough) i'll be gutted.

A few videos to give you an idea of the layout

K Man S - if that was you in the red (06 plate?) Cayman, you made a damn good show of it. Apart from the Radical race car with the chevy lump in it, which was kinda out of everyone's league, yours was the only piece of heavy machinery that shone, we thought - Abbeville is so short and made of bends that the light 'n' nippy lotus/caterfielders get the best of it.

Thanks dude - yes that was me. Tol & Michelle
It's a very tight curcuit and one which i won't be rushing back to. Don't get me wrong, i had a great time but i do like long sweeping bends and straights now and again and although Abbeyville brought out some of the car's better traits it didn't seem challenge/bring out the best in me.
The PS2s took some hammering that day and i still feel a little guilty (hehe - it'll pass ...... it's gone!
). Which car were you in?Edited by K Man S on Wednesday 29th August 14:06
