In case my 360 purchase falls through, I may consider a really nice SV. I had no trouble selling my last Diablo, but the few that are for sale seem to hang around for ages. Are they really that hard to sell? Are they overpriced? I mean, £65K ish sounds reasonable to me for a nice SV...

i have no idea on resale but im also looking very keenly towards buying one so
thats at least 2 of us so theres clearly people thinking about buying.

TBH i looked at gallardos and murcis all the way up and diablos seem like shocking
good value to me given the looks, pace and pedigree - for visual drama they take some
beating for the money.

I agree, massive bang for your buck. However, they seem to stick around for ages?

It depends on history. The good ones are snapped up before they even come to the general market. Great value for money and keep them for a few years and you can gaurentee to make money smile

I am talking about cars in the £65-70K bracket, less a bit from spirited negotiating...

most nice cars are 75 to 85 i think, though i heard of an early car going for around 70 this year.
prices are fairly solid but good luck with your search, if you decide to join us on the darker sideevil

Thanks guys. Although I am getting a great deal on the Ferrari, part of me hopes the deal falls through. It will be a welcome return to the dark side!

Second's still a bitch if you hurry it cold. Classic Lambo trait - oldies do it too.

Hehe, well that's something else Ferruccio copied off Enzo then. tongue out

I'm off up to Scotland tomorrow to pick up a nice family Dancing Donkey. Will have to get used to the gated manual shift again, not that that is any chore...

Just a wee heads up for you in case you haven't seen it but I recently bought a Maserati Spyder from Carlo at Top Gear Cars. He has a stunning yellow SV in at the moment. I'm no Diablo expert but this one looks gorgeous.

Doh! You are quite right! It is largely academic as far as I am concerned as all three are sadly out of my range right now but the 97R with the black alcantra and the yellow dials is gorgeous. I do like the open headlights of Wazza's too. What the hell, I'll take two

I'm getting very tempted by that already wazza, i just need to get over allergy to the lack of pop up headlamps.

i must be old fashioned, i like the diablo bonnet much better without the open lights.
