Hey.

I had XP and had the Microsoft Raw viewer installed so I could view Raw files without having to open up Photoshop.

It's still not a standard feature in Vista and thus I can't see Raw files without opening PS, which, to be blunt, is a pain in the rear.

To my knowledge, the same little bit of software doesn't work in Vista. So is there any easier ways other than opening up PS?

irfanview. Find myself using this more and more nowadays, and with the package of plugins you can get, raw files are a breeze smile

Anyway to get it to show the RAW thumbnails?

So when I browse through a folder I can see the thumbnails, instead of what appears to be a red cat?

Canon have a vista raw viewer driver to download. works fine.

One thing it doesnt do tho is enable CR2 in WMC, so I cant view my pics on my 360 unless I convert.
