No not the fact that Vauxhall had yet another 1-2 finish in both races (how fecked off must Matt Neal be , blown engine in race one while leading and only a couple of laps to go, then race 2 came from 12th – 3rd in 3 laps for a drive shaft to pop out after 8 laps talk about no luck!!) rather the rules are being altered in 2004, the change will allow entries from Ford, Alfa, Volvo, Renault, BMW and others with a bit of luck it’ll be back to the 90’s heydays with door banging and copious amounts of ‘rubbing is racing’ roll on 2004 !!

Good,

Just hope that Ford, Alfa, Volvo, Renault, BMW, .etc. are interested.

Now, if they'd come back to Knockhill I'd get more interested again.

But what are the rule changes?

Alfa and BMW has invested in the ETCC and are doing well so may not commit to another series but Volvo are struggling so may well come back. As for Ford and Renault I guess it would depend on which Race Team wants to run them.

Rules will be same as ETCC hence the cars invovled in that series can compete in the BTCC no development costs etc.

here the details from the offical TOCA site
