Those of you that run rear wings obviously thing there's an advantage in doing so. Do you alter the settings from track to track?

mind you Having said that Im sure a lot of testing has been done to get the correct beer/spillage angle correct hehe

And there is also the slightly less crucial pie and chip slippage angle to calculate... although this must also consider the possibility of chip fat drippage....

Steve Heath, reconds the small nascar spoiler he has on his, does make a difference. but does say the angle as long as it close don't make a lot of differance.

My one is linked to a small compressor in the boot that in turn is governed by a miroprocessor that records downward pressure and lateral G. At any downward pressure over 72.8 kg it levels out so as not to pitch the car up at the front and hence negate the effect. With a lateral G of more than 0.35 it elevates to create more downforce, 0.3576 being the average G of the start of entry to a corner. All is driven by small pistons on the back of the wing that have been taken from the new EuroFighter wing flaps. I wanted precision and reliability.

It cost £5,456 + VAT + fitting and doesn't make any difference at all but looks good!cool

If you wanted precision and reliability was Eurofighter the best starting point? hehe
