Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me, been trying to use the search facility but it hasn't beenn working since last night.

I just keep getting a message saying that an error has ocurred and that the technical team have been informed.

What are you looking for in particular

I've had to search 'my stuff' for old replies,
it shortens likely searches in the future by bookmarking' likely threads

I'm just looking for general ownership advice posts, I'm seriously considering getting a cerb towards the end of the year.

I've read through loads of post relating to the slave cylinder seal failures and body off restoration stuff. I plan to do as much as possible myself and want to be sure that I can cope with owning a cerb. Obviously I'd get a specialist to look at stuff I wasn't sure about so that it was done properly.

Cheers.

ooh thats a biggie'

I can picture the search results page(S)

how would you couch the search term in such a way as to avoid
instantly going negative on the whole idea.

have you thought of contacting likely car owners using the members/fleet option

at least you'd narrow the search to likely age of car sought

just an idea
Richard

well actually I did something similar when looking for a 90's 911 only recently

and got some very useful replies considered I'd never spoken to the owners before

THere is a section for website feedback. This topic should probably be closed.

Why, is there anything amiss?

Cos this is the Cerb section and the moderators close or move threads that are in the wrong place. Not my rules. But seems sensible.

Helpful suggestion are often cross-post
This ones at end of line by the looks of it as OP is walking his dog,
He's given up waiting for search to kick start
(As indeed we all are) frequently
