So how many Chimaera owners drive there's in the wet?

Drove mine third day I had it and yep the roof leaked. Now fully dried out and garaged it won't be seeing the wet stuff again smile

I drive mine all year round. All you need is to put a couple of coats of Fabsil on and the leaks should stop. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Grangers-FABSIL-UV-Proof-Wat...biggrin

Yep i drive all year round as well, even in the recent floods we have had. It also lives outside, not enough room in the garage.

Love it

Me too, mine lives in a garage or underground car park, but I drive it every day come rain or shine and so far it's never leaked even in real proper nasty rain! Wasn't too bad in snow either come to think of it!

Just make sure your seals are up to scratch, get some Thomsons waterseal on the roof and make sure your windows shut properly and there shouldn't be any reason for it to leak. Like most things on the car really, look after it and it'll look after you thumbup

Found mine leaked at the sides where the velcro strips are. The velcro strip is not quite wide enough and leaves a small gap either side so when you slightly lift each side of the hood you can see the gaps. Its fine at the windscreen edge, windows and targa panel just the damned sides. Will take the good advice and treat the roof with the required application.
