good car photo locations in London

As above, drove 100 miles to LOndon on a whim tonight and took my camera hoping for a nice location for a shot or two but 1, couldnt find anywhere, 2, couldnt believe how busy London still is on a Sunday night. Dont mind doing a dawn raid if i can get some classic pics. Liked the idea of the eye as a backdrop but there is only one place i can think of for that. Picadilly or other neoned singed place would be good but are they ever quiet?

In and around docklands there are stacks of great places. Take a friend if you want Canary Wharf or similar as a backdrop as the security guards get sniffy if you stop the car and hang around too long.
