Its that time again when I get all dressed up in my 50's/60's gear, looking like an idiot to go to Goodwood this weekend. I was wondering if any one else is going on Saturday and fancied a meet to drive down, could meet on the A3 and go from there.

Let me know, its a wicked drive down there, some very nice roads.

It would be good to meet some more Noble heads.

50/50 on this at the moment. Wont be dressed up but i understand a minumum of a jacket/shirt/tie is needed. Thats putting me off, especially if its a hot day!

No jeans or trainers my boy, got to get dressed up even if its just a pair of slacks, shoes, shirt and a cravat that will do.

Not going this year but I have been to all but 1 and unless they have changed it this year you only need to get dressed up if
a) you want to look the part and or
b)you want access to the paddock in which case a jacket and tie are required

PS but you will need to get your ticket in advance

You can have too much of a good thing . It just got a bit familiar. The paddock is a must . I always went with some guys who raced Chevrons in the 60's and 70's who knew a few of the guys racing and some of the mechanics who always assisted in getting into the paddock togged up or not.

Hope the weather is ok it will be great and I'm starting to miss it already .

The best year was when my frind bought ( whilst under the influence ) a racing honda motor bike from the "add a nought garage" . Don't think they are there anymore .
Riding that on the camp site and getting it back to yorksire was fun.
Hope you have a great weekend
