RS4 test drive

I've been sniffing around these parts for a while with a view to swapping my 997S over to an RS4 Avant (the usual reason - in about 26 weeks' time). Anyway, Saturday's trip to the supermarket turned into a visit to the local stealers and a test drive. One word, shouted. NOISE! Why hadn't I been told about that 'S' button on the steering wheel? I've never laughed openly on a test drive before, and it only lasted about 15 minutes but I've been sold. Roll on RS4 ownership.

Oh yeah, the car seemed well-built, had lots of space and was quite nippy too.

Tunnels are to be savoured...so are single track country lanes with hedges...I never had my windows up last weekend! (Can't say my nipper in the back shared my enthusiasm however!)
