Can anybody help?

I'm in the middle of the outrigger replacement on my '92 Griff 4.0 and will have some horror pictures yikes to post shortly.

Part of the process for lifting the bodywork clear of the chassis is to remove the petrol tank to access the rear bolts. Behind the tank, low down on the left, I found a very corroded cylinder with two hose connections. I suspect that it WAS a breather valve for the petrol tank confused but I have no way of positively identifying it!

Can anybody confirm what it WAS and perhaps give me a pointer as to where I can source a replacement?

There is a rollover valve, but that is normally near the filler pipe??

Thanks Dave,

You couild be right, since placing the original posting the rusty thing has crumbled to a powder to reveal a ball bearing at its heart. Does anybody know where replacements may be sourced from?

It is the roll over valve. No idea on a replacement I'm afraid. Would have thought it's fairly generic?

Try http://www.thinkauto.com/ who sell roll-over / breather valves amongst other useful things, must be plenty of similar sources though

Thanks for the replies, yes it was a rollover valve and I must thank Phil at Racing Green for sourcing it so quickly for me. If anyone else needs one it's part J0107 from Multipart.
