I've entered the Tuscan for a 30 minute race.
Even at my pace (56 mph urban cycle hehe) im thinking the AJP is going to gobble up the fuel in the standard tank at about 25 mins.

Has anyone got an auxillary tank for sale ?

Darren D , if you're reading this have you still got your tank for sale?

Or does the average Tuscan Challenge Tank have enough extra capacity ?

Thanks in advance chaps.

Standard tank capacity is about 35 litres, but only about 30 of that is of any use.

Which circuit are you racing at (said he, knowing the likely answer), as I have a chart with fuel consumption at race speed for various circuits for the Tuscan

I'm afraid I only have Oulton Full (in 1999). A 10 lap race used 17 litres, 2.1 miles per litre, and a 6 lap race 14, 1.8 miles per litre. The fuel used includes a warm up and slow down lap

Unless the chart is in kg for fuel used rather than litres....

Sorry, not a lot of help to you, although you can calculate a theoretical maximum mileage from your tank from this and convert it into time.
