Well I can but my passengers can't.Pushing the button down does seem to be operating anything. Can't remember whether this happened after it had been unalarmed or whether it just happened. It happened on a sunday if that makes any difference
Any tips appreciated.
Hi Scorchio
Any tips appreciated.
Our Griff does that sometimes. It's normally because I haven't put the interior release handle back in the right place after opening the door to get out. Always my fault so Dave tells me!
Make sure it's pushed all the way back down, then try and open the door.
It can also throw the rod inside the mechanism. Alongside the door pillar there is a velcro'd piece of side carpet (well there is on mine), if you pull this aside and get you hand in (its tight) you can feel if the rod end is connecting with the bottom of the door handle. Mine threw this some time ago but it will fit back into the bottom of the door handle - bit fiddly.
It happenend on mine when some numpty decided to pull the door piece instead of pushing

. Mine stopped working on Sunday. Colin kindly pointed out my thread, so it's possible it may be the solonoid. But I would check the courtesy light switch first. Hope you get it sorted ok. CRAIG
