Had my cerbera serviced two months ago. The last couple of times I have been out for an hour or so, when stationery and go to pull away the revs drop and it feels like I am going to stall. Even though I press the gas the revs still drop before I pull away. Can anyone shed any light? Thanks.

Is the battery light on too? if so could be big fuse. I only know that cause it happened to me a short while ago, and it had similar symtoms too. but it all happened within about 1/2hr.

otherwise sorry can't help smile

I had a lambda sensor die on me recently and was causing revs to drop at idle when engine hot. Maybe worth investigating too?

Revs used to drop on mine when it was seriously hot and after I'd done a decent run in the previous week (london - Manchester) then I realised what the dipstick was for and put in some mobile1 - no problems thereafter.

Check the throttle pots. Probably one of them is giving a bad reading on light throttle.

A couple of years ago my T.pots came loose on one side and Gave similar results.
The car would go to stall as you pull away from rest and then surge forward as it came back into life.

Thanks guys, in the end the car came to a grinding halt, turned out to be the main fuse all fixed now. However the battery was totaly flat and have on trickle charge for a few days still not fully charged how long should it take?

Is it definitely charging (i.e. charging lights showing)? My trickle charger won't actually start charging unless there is a certain level in the battery to start with, if it really went flat then you could below the required level (although this might indicate a dead battery anyway as if they go too low they can often never recover). Another option is just to jump it and take it out for a good long run, alternator charge should be quicker than a trickle charger.
