Gatso A130 - southend-bound

Noticed it tonight - has red cover over it at the moment. Just after last layby before roundabout. ie just before driving over "old A130".

Sorry Jamie, can't picture where the new A130 goes "over" the old one?

Will save the usual sight of an unmarked car in the layby with a uniformed traffic copper using the passenger door as cover whilst aiming his laser jobby up the road.

Can't remember any serious accidents there in recent times so wonder how they managed to get a camera installed......oh yeah revenue, w@nkers

Is it something to do with the roadworks? Going down to one lane for 8 weeks shortly - guess that their waiting for hols to finish before starting.

You are all correct!
1)The scameras are now in both directions and look like they are about to start roadworks any day (odd as the road isn't that old)
2)The scameras i was referring to yesterday are where the A130 crosses the A127

Aye, 4 cameras, 2 going towards Chelmsford/A12 and 2 on the stretch towards the A127.
