The server migration has been done... woohoo

There maybe some teething problems with the new setup as I have stripped down the code to the bear essentials to try and clean up the servers after the amount of stuff on them gathered in the last so many years.

This though may lead to a little bit of code hidden away that isn't working properly so please post below if you find anything that isn't working like it was before.

I would like to point out that the ads being slow to load is still a seperate problem that we are working on...

Enjoy the new servers.. let me know your feedback.

Cheers,
RP

Welcome back!

I can get back in through petrolheads.co.uk but not through pistonheads.com which gives a 401.

Mac OS 10.3.9 and Firefox 2.0.0.6

ETA, Scrub that, now working bounce

Thanks for all your efforts everyone involved.

The tarpitting message seems to be increasing in frequency. Can't put any numbers to it, but it feels like every third or fourth action produces it.

Something very odd going on with indexing within threads. Posts appearing out of order etc.

I suspect this could be down to the Time Travel (R) problems we are currently 'enjoying'.

Right times are sorted now, and the Persists tarpitting error has been fixed too (though replaced by the standard error page, but at least it gives me reports on those errors).

Now where is that red bull smile
