My ST220 sounds funny

Late last week, I started up the ST, and as I drove off I immediately noticed the exhaust note seemed deeper - more gruff. It's a pleasant growl, but I can't help thinking there's something up with the exhaust. Any ideas anyone? I'd expect a good exhaust system to last more than 3 years and 26,000 miles

I'd expect it to last longer than that too. It sounds like maybe the sound absorbing material inside has got displaced or something, but it *could* certanily be blowing. Sometimes the welds fracture if it wasn't fitted 100% correctly.

My puma sounds funny too, I started it up and it said "A man walks into a greengrocer's and says, I want five pounds of potatoes please. And the greengrocer says, we only sell kilos. So the man says, alright then, I'll have five pounds of kilos."

Is this is a 54 plate car?? IIRC there was an "issue" with sound deadening material-check your tail pipes!!!

It's a 2004/53 plate. I do notice an inordinate amount of vapour coming from my exhaust sometimes. Hmmm...
