L322 Rangie Problems?
Discussion
Hi All,
I've finally decided to sell the old XK and have in mind a third gen Rnage Rover, a 4.4 V8 Vogue around 2004 MY. I know plenty about the older P38A but little about the faults etc with the BMW engined follow-up model. Can anyone suggest what spec to look for or what are the main faults now the vehicles are reaching 65,000+ miles.....
Thanks for all your input.

Depends on what you are after, and what mileage you intend on doing.I would prefer a chipped diesel, but there are others on here that would think nothing better than sticking there hard earned in fueling a petrol.Things to lookout for,and a lot that ive seen crop up a lot in the last year. And thats front diff failure. Also the drive shafts are held in place by a crappy pin, which has a tendancy to let go causing the drive shafts to pop out. Also starting to see a lot of alternators being replaced. Not cheap, water cooled and £599 a piece. On the Diesels look for injector trouble. These arent cheap either.£150 each and there,s six of them.
