Independent Mercedes garages in the North West

Hi,
Does anyone know of any decent indies around the NW/Manchester area?
This is our first merc and, although I'm pleasantly surprised with the cost of parts, the labour charges are horrendous!!
I need the injector seals and glow plugs replacing on my ML270CDi and, although it's only £96.42 for the parts, it's going to be £660.00 plus for 6hrs labour!!
Coupled with an imminent 'B' service - we need to find a good indie soon

Ian B Walker of 124works in Preston is very highly rated by people on the Merc owners and MB club forums. I haven't used him for work but when I rang him for advice on buying a CLK he was really friendly and helpful. He doesn't just do 124 Mercs. People seem to travel a fair distance to use him. I have no connection with the garage other than seeing him highly recommended on other sites.
