Stereo help, new Cooper S

Hi all, after a bit of advice for a friend. Need to fit a bluetooth hands free kit in a new cooper s, slots into the back of the standard head unit. How can I remove/get access to the standard fit head unit? BMW won't help, as it's not 'approved', help!!

not that easy,you need to remove the instrument cluster,which means all of the trims around it

Thats what I thought, any guides doing the rounds?
