Hi,

I'm posting on behalf of my brother-in-law. He has a 2003 X5 3.0i and his hazard light switch and central locking switch are not working (the hazard light switch hasn't popped back out when we pressed it in). In addition the alarm keeps going off now when it is being set.

I'm guessing its all linked...could this be a fuse issue ? If so does anyone know where I can find the relevant fuse in the X5 - had a look at the fuse box in the boot but it didn't state hazard fuse anywhere?

Please Please Please help.

Thanks ! smile

It's only a guess but it sounds like the hazard light switch is broken and the alarm is going off because it is sensing a big voltage drop everytime the indicators light up!!

Prise the switch out somehow and disconnect it from the terminals at the back.

Good luck
