Just completed this on the 350.

WOW , what a difference much more positive, I can corner much quicker, really is the best mod I've made so far.

Pity I had to machine up a collar (as I've got the SD1 column) to fit the bearing, but well worth it.

hi ive just had my pas steering rack re furb still not happy bit of a novice oh my cars a 350 are u local surrey/middx

Sorry I'm in the Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire smile

The bulkhead bearing mod that I carried out is detailed on the Wedge pages though.

I had to make a sleeve/collar/bush as well, but as you say a minor inconvenience for the improvement!
