gave it a nice drive all round dorking box hill down to bare green and back drove superb never skipped a beat one happy owner i am.
but in true wedge style got home reversed on to the drive leaving a trail of oil spots!
dripping from some where nerar the filter another job for the winter.
but im still very happy with my wedge.

The oil pipes to the filter do age quite badly. They go very brittle. You may have a weepy one. Good idea to have it checked.

Thightend a year ago all the clips to the remote filter (some were so loose I would have expected them to pop off at normal oil pressure!) and all worries disappeared, but checks are in order.

Had some nice drives around the Ardennes (Belgium) last week, while enjoying a weeks holiday with the family. The joy of taking your wedge and the family takes the family car - keeps you happy while on holiday as well.

Just had my car over in the Lakes for a few days: saw a couple of Chimaeras and a Tuscan on Saturday plus (I think) a Tuscan midweek but no wedges!
Growled up Hard Knott, snarled along Wastwater, rumbled through Grasmere... a few hundred miles all told, hardly any rain, car never missed a beat and why should it: I built that engine biggrin

Hi Ian

You will have to let me know your best routes around the Lakes.
My favorite is the road over Wrinose and Hard Knott passes

Taking my new 400SE up the last weekend in Sept and also
my mate who has bought my Chocolate 350i in coming along
and another friend trying to keep up in a GT6 eek
We will leave the "girls" in Lakeland Plastics which should keep them
occupied for a good few hours while we hoon around the Lakes

Cheers

Richard
