I once bought his Lancia Integrale Evo. I still have copies of the Italian papers with 'Edmund Irvine' on them...

Swerve would have been F1 world champ (before shoemaker) had the crew not 'lost' a tyre at a pit stop.

Shame he didn't give his 288 GTO a run instead of the 550.

Loads of Integrale's had his name on it-when 'grale's used to command a premium in the early days there was place in South London which every Integrale had him as a previous owner.

considering he co-owned a car showroom that used to import them in East Sheen it's not surprising

his black Daytona is very, very nice though

I know. However, this was his personal car and was registered to him in Italy. He also wrote about drivig this car to various GP's.

I'm sure it had plates, but ITV decided to blank them out, maybe due to a request from Eddie confused

Indeed... Or had he not had to defer to MS during the first part of the season, thus losing points that would have made the difference between ultimately winning or losing the WDC. Says a lot for him really that despite having to defer to MS until Silversone he still got to within two points of winning the World Championship by the end of the season.
