Where I used to work leant Jose a Q7 for six months. I think you'll find like most really big celebs these days, they don't own their own cars, they get given them to drive around in for six months by the manufacturers.

A lot of these celebs really don't like people selling on their cars as owned by Michael Owen or some such. That's why it makes such good sense for them and the manufacturers get loads of publicity every time they appear in the tabloids or Hello.

However it can back fire. I noticed in some rap video the other day that I had the misfortune of glancing at, they had digitally removed the three pointed star off the artists SLR. So there can be bad publicity as well. And I bet nobody's now queueing up to lend either Britney or Paris a motor...

Big Ron Atkinson famously said to Manchester United chairman Martin Edwards, when offered a Rover as a club car when being interviewed for the vacant managers seat at Old Trafford:-

"If I wanted a Rover I'll buy a bloody dog"...hehe

He got his Mercedes.......

When I was a wee lad, (about 1982-1984), the manager of Sheffield Wednesday lived across the road from my parents.

He had a gold Granada 2.8i Ghia X and a Black 2.8i Capri. Prior to that he had a white MK2 RS2000.

Yes, I was a petrolhead even then aged 5.
