HELP! Broken gear linkage on Westfield Megablade
Discussion
I picked up my Westfield megablade yesterday (ZX9R powered rather than Blade) and on the way home, the gear linkage broke! Not being particularly technically minded, I was wondering whether anyone can shed any light on whether this is a simple job? I'm guessing it is in principle, but could a standard car mechanic do it if I drop it into my local garage? Alternatively, does anyone know of a specialist in the Guildford / Haslemere Surrey area?
Help would be much appreciated, as it's painful being off the road having just collected it! (bought it privately, so no warranty etc).
Cheers.

No - a nut had come loose from the gear linkage; I'd brought a few spares with me, some locktite, washers and tools.
Took about a minute to identify and fix (not the world's most easily accessible place), and then another 30 minutes trying to work out why it wouldn't go into gear (without the engine running - I'm not used to bike engines
).
