Yep, look for a Blue TVR Cerbera with a white/yellow/fibreglass front wing (competing obviously!) smile

Hopefully we'll get there... Car is still being tinkered by the best out there, so we're fairly confident it'll be there. smile I think Dad will be giving the man himself a ring tomorrow to find out its status. biggrin

Aston - We'll be running in the handicap section as usual - we're hoping to become part of the woodwork really, we've done it for the past four years or more and hope to keep coming back! Its a great event, and one dad holds in particularily high regard as he used to watch it as a child - he never thought he would be a part of it! biggrin I'll hopefully come over and find you early ish then to have a quick look around if you dont mind?! I'll make sure to introduce myself to most people around said beast of a car - please do not be alarmed with how scruffy/tired I look - im not a morning person!!! hehe

Paul - Yep, we'll definately be at Loton, we're hoping you can make it too! - not only for your company, but for the fact we need just one more runner in Midland Speed to get a trophy or something?? hehe Hope the Six is coming together nicely, I was a little concerned recently after a conversation with someone whos had deadline issues themselves. frown All the best with it, I cant wait for the T350R's developments to start evolving further still...

OK, glad to be finally of use this season. It'll be dragged to the startline then. smile

Daftlad - you mean you don't know? Doesn't mayhem still ensue for your key suppliers the moment you start depending on them ... rolleyes

Hmm, I wonder how its going to launch without an LSD actually... had'nt thought about that. smile Ah well, will have to make it up with brute power...

Paul, we'll happily settle for your good company! If you can push the T onto the start line it'd be better still, but dont worry if you cant. wink I still reckon you should have gone the AJP route, but hopefully the 4.* S6 will be something very very special indeed! biggrin

thumbup by a fair bit in both terminal speed and outright time... enough to beat the F430 spyder/ Ferrari F40/ the first two runs of the Ferrari 599 GTB, he improved on the third, beat us by 0.2)/F355/M3/Dodge Viper/SLK55AMG etc etc. Infact, ignoring the handicaps and just going on raw times, it was fifth out of the handicap lot and the second fastest rear wheel drive car (first being a properly nuts Caterham 7!) biggrin SOooooooo happy with it. The Cerb was actually clean, its just that we havent yet sprayed the front wing we have repaired - unsightly as it is, theres something fun about turning up in a knackered looking 72k mile old Cerbie and just obliterating some of the finest modern sports/supercars - then driving home with the aircon on, boot full and listening to a few CD's with a big grin.

I'll put a proper post in the Cerb forums tomorrow sometime - too knackered now!

Just want to say thanks to Aston for the screwdriver and a pleasure to meet you briefly - sorry we had to leave so early, we had to meet someone - by the time we returned to the seafront it was almost over.

No sixes unfortunately. frown

Only other TVR there was Dave Morris's gorgeous Tuscan Racer - was a second quicker than us, but then again it is lighter, more powerful, has stunning carbon wheels, nitrous and slicks... I dont think the old Cerb faired too badly all things considered! hehe
