Hi Everyone.

Just a quick question to ask the best way to replace the front indicator lenses and what should i use to seal them in. I'm changing from orange to clear using the philips silvervision lamps. The nose is getting re-lacquered on Monday and want to install these first.

Cheers.

Gti - The best stuff to use is Sikaflex, do a search on Ebay for it - it's a messy horrible job to do, the indicator housings are glued/sealed to the body, so it's chopping all the old sealant out, and sealing/glueing the new ones in.

Yup, definitely Sikaflex, and seconded on it being a dreadful job. I tried to just re-fix one of mine a few months ago and found it such a tricky job, i saved it up to get done when it went in to the Indie for a few other bits! boxedin

when I did mine, I used a hot glue gun to fix the lens in place and then sealed around the lens using black silicone.
