DEA Training Courses query

As another course year is about to start, I thought I'd check out what courses were on offer mainly for home study. Now that HIPs are a requirement, I thought I could do the 'Domestic Energy Assessor' training course. However, my local college/university doesn't do it and a quick check on the City and Guild's website says there are none within 50 mile radius of where I live( Bedford).
There Eastern region HO has none either ( St. Ives, Cambs).
Has anyone done one of these courses? Are they now producing reports for estate agents/homebuyers? Any info appreciated. Thanks
