yes, i know its tedious, but Ive done a search and there doesnt appear to be any up to date threads here about the best place to get insurance for my Rangie.

Ive tried a great many of the online price comparrison places, but most of them cant find my model as its a special edition or some such crap.

anyway, does anyone know of any where good that does insurance for range rovers?

many thanks smile

I'm also after insurance for my Disco. Sort of struggling at the moment.

Insurance Bod;
"Any modifications to the vehicle?"

Me;
"Yeah, I take it green laning and off road so it has steering guard, rock sliders, snorkel, etc, etc"

Click, Brrrrrrr

Me;
"Hello. Hello? Are you still there? Hello?"
funny enough, I just replied on your thread. go have a look chum smile

NFU Mutual for Land Rover insurance.
I've never used anybody else and they are used to us taking bits off / putting bits on etc.

My 1986 Ninety costs me £15pm
that's going to piss you off Nervy when you get your quote hehetongue out

Agree with NFU if you live in a rural-ish area. They are no cheaper in urban post codes but are very good in rural ones with LR's. I used to pay £51 a year for my Series III.

For insurance on modded motors, buy any of the LR comics and look in the insurance sectio - plenty of companies offering good deals on modded motors.

NFU were uncompetitive for me too

In the end Adrian Flux were half the cost and they cover greenlaning too

esure got the job. 352 quid unlimited mileage with breakdown etc. even covers my stupidly young, inept, crash-happy missus.

not that im going to tell here that, of course.
