Hi guys, have heard that the 16" rear wheels from a chim will fit onto the front with no mods etc, and that this was the case for the late chims. Is this correct, and is it a good thing to do - imagine they will look better than the 15" rims

I have done exactly this on my Griff, and very pleased. Makes tyre choices a lot simpler too. If your steering rack is not perfectly centred you may have to fit a spacer on the rack to prevent the wheels catching on full lock. Demon Tweeks sell the spacers.

I'm in the market for a pair, no rush, but i suspect that you might be somewhat over priced - especially as it sounds like the paint needa a refurb -at £40 per wheeel. If you find you don't shift them at that price, please PM me and i'll make you an offer - if you do sell them, well done smile
