insure you on a litre bike without any no claims?

I keep yearning to get another motorbike since my last one was stolen and in an ideal world I would buy another fireblade.
I suspect I would be on a loser with that though.
Anyone know of any?

No- passed my test about 4 years ago. Had a Thundercat, then a Fireblade. Fireblade was stolen and couldnt insure another so I got a 748 but that always felt slow after the Fireblade.
Then that got nicked too, so I haven't had a bike for 18 months or so but really getting the itch again.
I do roughly fit the criteria but I don't tihnk I could stomach over a grand for insurance.
Might have a little look though smile

After two thefts, I'd be surprised if they didn't hang-up mid-conversation smile

That's what I was thinking. I had thought to myself that I would wait the 3 years or whatever until you don't have to declare them, but as I said, I'm getting itchy throttle hand.

Really depends on the bike you choose: I really fancied a Blackbird, but no way am I paying £1300 a year for insurance. On the other hand, the FZ1 was a smidge over £400 so quite acceptable really considering I have no bike ncb and less than one years experience. smile

A triumph 1050 was a grand for me with 0NCB and only 6 months since I passed my test. Not quite a sports bike but still plenty quick when needed. That was a couple of years back and ebikeinsurance where far and away the cheapest. Worth a look I guess.

I have enough problems getting cheap 600 insurance after a single theft (total loss) in 2005 of a GSXR600 living in East London without a garage. I've currently got 3 years no claims (got to wait till nov for another year hopefully) and zero points on the license. I'm 35 with almost 11 years riding experience.
I was getting plainly stupid quotes on 750cc or 1000cc bikes from everyone even my current insurers H&R who are by far the cheapest for me.
