Cheap SO3's in Herts/Beds........?

Am really struggling to find a good source of cheap tyres in my area?

From reading I see that SO3's are a favorite, but am not averse to trying others. Currently have Continentals on the rear (like that when I bought it in Feb).

Really appreciate any local advice.
What's a good price for rear SO3's?

After lots of searching I managed to find S03's for £89 front and £95 rear about a month ago (admitted I haggled him down), this was the cheapest I found. The quotes I was offered was anything up to £160 .

This was further north and we don't like to pay over the oods you know.

But I've also noticed that Toyo are now doing ZR tyres in 15 (205/55 and 225/50, But I was advised that the side walls on these could be a little soft

Those prices sound very good , what kind of place was it that you found them in, private garage, dealer, tyre specialist?

I suggest quoting other companies prices and hagling. I got a complete set fitted for £420 at Kwik Fit in Dunstable (they originally started at £560). They were a pretty good bunch of blokes and took care of the car & wheels.

Best place for tyres I have found is MK Tyres in Leighton Buzzard.
Bit of a run down looking place, but very good on price and on service - we now have all the company car tyres replaced there.

I've been buying tyres for years from Homan Brothers in Kempston, Bedford, on 01234 851850. I've never bought SOx's from them, but they've always been prepared to match prices for Rangie, Discovery, Cossie and other assorted tyres. Give them a call.
