Distance Selling Agreement

Hi there,

Can anyone explain what a Distance Selling Agreement is and what I need to do regarding setting up an e-commerce website?

I presume you mean the distance selling regulations.

Theres a few elements to it, but the most important (in my eyes at least) is that you have to allow people to return their goods within 7 days.

Make sure your returns policy is watertight though or you'll have people taking the piss (I think the 7 days limit on returning goods is only if stated as such. If no time stated it goes to something like 3 months )
