Brighton Speed Trials
Discussion
Just a quick heads up for the above event - its that time of the year again!!
Saturday 8th September, Madeira Drive, Brighton sea front.
Hopefully the Cerb will be competing again this year as always - im afraid we still havent had a chance to finish/ paint the front wing since it met a tyre wall at Harewood hillclimb a couple of years back - but we're hoping the runs/ noise should atleast do the marque proud!!
It is an incredible event, with masses of mad cars and bikes - with a mix of road cars and many beautifully prepared drag cars/bikes of lower level drag racing (no top fuel stuff im afraid!) As this is a road course its incredibly slippy, so the times arent as quick as Santa Pod stuff, but it does give you an idea of REAL world off the lights stuff.
Even excluding our Cerb, there will be plenty of interest to the Cerbera lot, from 500bhp road legal-Tuscan Racers to utterly gorgeous Ferrari F40's...
Hopefully see you there?? If you spot the Cerb in the paddock with us about, dont be afraid to say hi, its always a pleasure to meet fellow PH'ers, especially those fortunate enough to be part of the Cerb community!!

They can do this event...but not one Fezza turned up for Fighting Torque!
72k, try that in an F40 without a rebuild!
See you there Raw, just had a text from Dad saying he's collecting the car tonight, so should be a definate for running now.
We were a little concerned for time as we dropped it off to Trackcar with a very very short time frame to get it ready, but the Cerb will be back tonight.
Drive as fast as you can?
Become a member of the Brighton & Hove MC (£40?)
Race entry (£100?)
National B non race licence (£dunno)
Helmet (£varies)
Race suit (circa £100?)
Have testicals the size of space hoppers
Not get upset when you get whooped by someone in a Mini (normally with a chuffin' big V8 stuffed in it somewhere)
Most importantly, be up for a laugh

Ben, myself and PHer reverend are planning on joining you/your dad on Madiera Drive in 2008

Anyone else fancy it?
Fube's it'd be great to see you and Rev there... you do realise you have to actually complete the 1/4 mile though right??

Anyone else fancy it?

Looks quite big too?? 57mb for a 12.79second run is rather big isnt it?? Perhaps a PH.tv error?
