I was wondering if anyone has found a way or product that will protect the leading edge and underside of the splitters. I thought I saw a thread on here (sometime ago) mentioning carbon fibre "panels" being sourced - Can anyone help?

I had considered putting some kind of protective skid plate on the underside of the front splitter but the problem is the mounting point of any protective plate would be vunerable to cracking as any impact was absorbed. I concluded in the end that it would probably be simpler and no more costly to fibreglass repair the splitter every few years as required.

Was talking to these guys at the Rock http://www.newlunperformance.com/ and they tell me they have developed Carbon Fibre splitters for the Sag which are reinforced underneath. I'm on my second set both sides at the moment and am starting to regard them as a consumable item. Fancied the Newlun idea but the price was a bit out of my pain threshold at the time so I had it repaired instead.
