Sorry, its probably already been asked on here but I have'nt seen it so.....Why with a forward facing trevello unit, ie looking at you, do you find that series of white marking on the road after the camera, when the evidence photo is taken with the front wheel over 3 little white lines in front of the camera?

If it's a single carridge way some of them are reversible so that they can take pictures of cars going the oposite way

The three white lines help work out which vehicle is speeding when two vehicles are in the photo. Check out the link on the manufacturers web site.

BTW has anyone noticed that with a standard gatso if you pull out to overtake someone just after you pass the camera you can get it to flash. Must think you have quickly accelerated from where your cars was to the car that's in front of you. That will waste some film

Now the question seems to be answered i'll go off topic
always wondered if an air rifle pelet would set off a gatso? If i lived near one I could have hours of fun wasting expensive film

Why would anyone want to live near an air rifle pellet ????

Makes it easier to pick it up and (hypothetically speaking of course) find some way to ram it through the gatso...

The local Bikers think its a sign of things to come, ie a replacement camera head that takes a reinforcement shot up the @rse maybe?
Or it could be a genuine effort to make our roads a safer place by increasing our awareness of a cameras presense ......not
Brian.
