Nearly overtook it on the A47 then followed it from Acle to North Walsham. Very sneaky but I just saw the twin rear view mirrors and black display/box in the rear window in time. Also no ST24 badge but twin exhausts and ST24 trim.

Watch out!!! was wanting me to race. He didn't like the fact that I followed him all the way to the Police Station and watched him pull in.

One of these black mondeo's (and a silver skoda aka Kent Police) shoot on the A14 - A11 - A134 Triangle - this time Suffolk Police, does quite a bit of business on A14/A11 Jcn as he always seems to have pulled someone over in the layby's near there redcard

Also Silver Vectra, was about to go past then realised funny rear head rests, in the end crawled past to confirm and then sat in front for the next 10 miles sleep

2 up with a ll the kit, they watched me watching them smile

They sit on the back of the ramps a lot on the A14, check every exit as you go past !

ST24 or the ST220?

There's a Silver and Blue one round here, not to mention 2 unmarked new shape BMW 3-Series too

As well as extra dash equipment, just look for shirts/blue pips and usually 2 people inside (not always 2 people, but seeing as these are used for traffic policing, the policemen have to be in uniform IIRC)

They'll need a new offence: 'Driving responsibly in the vicinity of an unmarked car'.

Next we will be getting tickets for having a car that has the potential to speed.

I had a police man walk past my car when parked and his comment was "loose your licence with that my son" just after he had puffed his cheeks out and shook his head.

Pro active policing or pro forma invoice for an offence not yet commited.

North Walsham also have 2 silver ST220's and i've also seen a grey Honda civic with the blues going...FFS!
I was heading towards York last Friday on the A64 when a black Volvo caught my eye in an approaching layby. It wasn't until we got much closer i noticed a smug looking tcensoredr sat on the bonnet dressed completely in black - trousers, shirt, shoes & sunglasses...holding a 'speed measuring weapon',talk about blended in! How can that be legal!!?furious About another mile up the road was a marked Volvo getting traffic coming from the other way.
Touching the wood stuff we were doing about 75-77 mph in Sally's 306 so HOPEFULLY won't be getting any nasty letters!

So North Walsham have 4 un marked cars. Thats probably more than the amount of full-on stickered up bright ones that they must have.

I know there's a lot of boy racers around that area but 4 un marked cars seems overkill.

The towns police get 4 topped out (30k each?) cars but the local cottage hospital (about 6 doors away) is being closed down due to lack of funding.

were does all the fine money go!!!!!!

Not sure it quite works out like that and it's been a while since I was involved....

The Norfolk traffic divisions have primary and secondary routes around the county with a small margin of overlap so they cover a fairly big area and it would probably make sense to rotate the cars about so they don't become too well known

I think it's still split into 3 areas but don't quote me on it

I would expect to see over a period of months several diffent unmarked cars in various towns

Basically don't think that you've seen all the unmarked cars in the area as this changes. So always keep you eyes peeled for the subtle signs.

Quite often I don't need to find them as they find me. I have a road going Caterham Academy race car all stickered up with race numbers the lot. I actually drive the wifes 4.0 jeep Grand Cherokee quicker than the Caterham cos it's not so obviouse.
