weather permitting i'm going to do one of these on the 18th September.
I live pretty near by and have done the track a few times in cars but i've only been riding a CBR600RR since Feb this year.
Any tips and tricks as it's a bumpy old circuit!

Yea, take it easy, you won't learn anything if you go at it with all guns blazing, speak to the Track day organizer, who will help you on the day.

Oh, and have fun.

Book a day with california superbike school, you'll learn more in a day than you would in a year of trackdays.

Totally agree, these guys are great. I was expecting a load of instuctors with massive ego's trying to show me how goodthey were, but it was nothing like that. They are there to help, and I got fantastic results form just one day. However, they ain't cheap.
I'd also recommend Rapid Training (much cheaper). Similar set up, but without the classroon sessions you get with CSS.

I've booked Snetterton on the 26th, a ride conrol half day with an instructor, they keep the speed low and teach you how to sit on the bike, basic control and how to corner, just basic stuff but speed comes from technique and control.
