Oil for 993 C4

What is the majority opinion on the best oil for my C4.
Reason I ask is thet with my previous Skyline R34 (which was obviously turbo'd) this was a VERY important factor.
Possibly not so with the 993 , so any views welcomed.

I'm still a 993 newbie but the only oil I've seen Porsche recommend is Mobil 1.

Castrol RS is the prefered oil of most of the Uk specialists, not as stupidly thin as mobil 1 but just as good= fully synth etc etc.

For anything pre 98 avoid any of the 0W weight oils. I have used shell, esso and mobil in the past with good results, and if you do less than 6000 miles per year you could happily use a semi-synthetic 10W-40 or 15W-50 and save money.
